Lineshaft Roller Conveyor
This is a
simple but highly effective powered roller
conveyor. The system is totally versatile
and flexible with 45° and 90° spurs and
bends, personnel gates, transfers and even
180° turns.
As the name
suggests the rollers are driven by a powered
lineshaft underneath the rollers, which is
connected via a clutch and very durable
polyurethane belts to the grooved rollers.
Good quality electric motor drives are used
offering efficiency, reliability and the
very minimum of maintenance.

The
integrated accumulation system
ensures that when there is a line of
stationary boxes, the rollers
directly under the boxes cease to
rotate. Once the line has been freed
the rollers will automatically begin
to rotate (through the clutch drive
on the lineshaft) allowing the boxes
to move forward as required. |

In
operation the system creates a safe
working environment within the
Health & Safety code. Once installed
the system can be modified,
extended, or changed with ease to
suit future manufacturing needs.

Maximum
drive is approximately 12kg per
roller. For heavier or difficult
applications a chain driven conveyor
with or without accumulation zones
may be required. |
