On Friday the 26th of September, our team came together for something a little different from the usual, a Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was a chance to step away from our day-to-day work, enjoy some time together, and make a positive impact for a cause that touches so many lives.
Across the UK, thousands of Coffee Mornings (both big and small) help raise vital funds for the nearly 3.5 million people living with cancer. These donations make a real difference, providing practical care, emotional support, and guidance from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond. It’s an opportunity for communities and workplaces alike to come together, share stories, and show that no one has to face cancer alone.
At our Coffee Morning, the team pulled out all the stops. With plenty of homemade cakes, hot drinks, and good company, we were able to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who came along. Thanks to the generosity of our team, we’re proud to share that we raised over £280 to support Macmillan’s incredible work.
Every slice of cake eaten, every cup of coffee enjoyed, and every donation made contributes directly to Macmillan’s mission. It ensures that people affected by cancer receive the support they need, whether it’s practical help with everyday challenges, emotional support, or simply knowing that someone is there for them.
A huge thank you goes to the entire Alwayse team for baking, donating, and getting involved. The time, effort, and enthusiasm everyone put into the morning really made it a special occasion. We’re incredibly proud of the generosity and spirit shown by everyone who contributed, and it’s moments like these that remind us how a small act of kindness can have a big impact.
We can’t wait to do it again next year and continue supporting such an important cause.
