Trish supports almost every corner of the business. From expediting Purchase Orders to admin, talking to suppliers, issuing quotes, and keeping our consumables stocked.
“I’m heavy on trusting my gut. When I sat down for my interview with Claire and Tony, I immediately knew this was a good place. Claire is the MD, and she had a friendly face and was easy to talk to; she didn’t make me feel anxious/nervous. Even now, and as busy as she is, Claire makes time for each of us; her door is always open, and I think that’s important.”
Trish spent over a decade in the infrastructure industry, starting her career in scanning, moving to land referencing, then to planning application validation, back again to land referencing, and eventually moving into sales and business development, which helped build her confidence. But nothing prepared her for the variety and energy of manufacturing.
“It was honestly petrifying at first. I’d never worked in this kind of industry before. I’ve kind of been like a sponge. I just wanted to learn. Wherever someone needs help and I can help, I will. I’m not the type to sit still and do nothing.”
One of the biggest shifts for Trish this year has been how she feels about work.
“Even on the tougher days, I never feel anxious.” She credits that to the culture and the people.
“They say good company culture isn’t about pizza, it’s about not feeling anxious on Sunday night and having support on the more challenging days.”
There’s a lot of pride in the work, but there’s laughter too. Every day.
From regular chats with the shop floor to being part of a tight-knit office team, Trish has built strong relationships with Tony, Reg, Kam, finance, and just about everyone else.
“This is a corporate environment, of course it is. But I can be myself here. People accept me for who I am. That’s really important to me.”
Whether it’s answering phones, managing orders, or talking to customers who leave her smiling, Trish brings a sense of calm, capability, and humour into every interaction.
“Trish has been a massive help with everything. As a member of the senior leadership team, there are commercial projects I need to focus on, and the only way I can do this is by delegating a proportion of my day-to-day work over to Trish, and I can rest assured, it’s in good hands. She just gets on with things and she’s always willing to learn. She’s done exceptionally well in such a short period of time.”

Trish takes pride in being a dog mom.
When she’s not here, she’s out walking her dog Vinny, down the pub with her partner and friends, or scoping out her next holiday.

Trish, thank you for your energy and support, and for jumping head-first into a new industry and making it your own.
